Surgery at Animal Medical Center in LubbockMedical and Surgical Treatment – Our goal is to provide state of the art Veterinary medicine and surgery as well as the best in preventative health care. We strive to provide you with information to help you in making decisions regarding your animal’s health. All cases are diagnosed and treated by licensed veterinarians. We also now offer specialty surgeries in our hospital with the help of Texas Specialty Veterinary Services. Until recently these procedures had to be referred to surgical centers in other cities.

Boarding runs at Animal Medical Center in LubbockBoarding – We offer 3 different sizes of boarding condos for small animals and large breed dogs. We also have dog runs that are 3.5 feet x 7 feet in dimension. Our boarding facility includes inside kennels, inside runs, and two fenced outdoor exercise areas. Runs and kennels are temperature controlled with central heating and air conditioning. Cats are boarded in a separate area from the dogs. Unless specially requested, individual animals are kept in separate kennels or runs. Animals are admitted and discharged during regular office hours. For the protection of all boarded pets, dogs must have current vaccinations for Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus, Rabies and Bordetella (kennel cough). Cats must have current Distemper, Rhinotrachitis, Calci virus, Pneumonitis, Rabies and Feline Leukemia vaccines.  Boarding pets are fed Hill’s Science Diet for sensitive stomach.  If your pet is on a special diet it is recommended that you bring that diet with your pet.

We will also board exotic pets in our new Exotic boarding room. It is recommended that you provide the cage, bedding, food, and feeding instructions. Call us at (806) 794-4118 for pricing and availability. Remember to make your pet’s reservation early for the busy holiday season.

Pharmacy – Since human pharmacies do not carry many of the prescription products approved for pets, we stock the safest and most effective veterinary drugs in the animal health care field. These products are supplied to us directly from the manufacturers.

Microchip Implants – Microchips have helped reunite thousands of pets with their families. We offer the most widely used microchip products to increase the chances of a safe recovery of lost pets. We also offer microchips valid for international travel.
